Being tied, for me, has always been about relationship. When I am tied by others, my intention is to get to know them, and to get to know the way in which we relate to each other. Feeling each other through a shared mutually intense experience, that forces us to either trust or stop what we are doing, creates a close bond. Through rope, all we can do is feel each other’s impulses, desires, and direction, and reveal ourselves to the other through our reactions.
Most people I have tied with have become friends, lovers, and partners of mine in our private lives. With some of these people, I have also developed creative or professional rope practices with. For me, it is never the other way around; I believe that maintaining my personal desires for being tied is also the only way in which I can maintain my passion and creativity, which I feel is essential for my professional practices relating to sexuality and eroticism.
Below are some galleries of me being tied by different riggers in my life who I have also explored photography with. These photos carry a lot of memories for me of my life and my relationship with the rigger at the time they were taken. Some of these relationships have ended, others are still in process, developing and changing along with ourselves, and the photos taken reflect these journeys.
